Mümtaz Turhan Social Sciences High School Students Were Our Guests at the Ancient Greek Mythology Workshop!
The Ancient Greek Mythology Workshop event was held in cooperation with the Ancient Greek Language and Literature and Classical Philology Society Club. As part of the event, the main points of Istanbul University were visited with the students of Mümtaz Turhan Social Sciences High School. Participants were informed about the historical halls of the Rectorate Building, the historical Fire Tower, the Faculty of Economics Library, Rıdvan Çelikel Archeology Museum and the architectural history of the Faculty of Letters. The workshop part of the event, which took place in the Faculty of Letters Hall of Honor, was attended by Assoc. Dr. It started with Erman Gören's speech titled "The Twelve Labors of Herakles and the Idea of the Establishment of Civilization". Subsequently, at the six tables set up, two each of the twelve labors of Herakles were discussed in detail for about 90 minutes. Our student friends moderated the discussions, and five high school students at each table actively participated in these discussions:
